Just an unscientific poll on the upcoming race for the Assembly.

Koons answer to the budget shortfall in MC is, Raise taxes - Yup, he said that on one of the cable 12 propaganda shows he is on. maggie hasn't raised the taxes sufficiently in monroe county.

Time for him and all the rest of the incumbants to go. They keep saying they have the experience and newcomers wouldn't get anything accomplished due to lack of experience.

Lets put together a list of the "accomplishments"

1) Most dysfunctional state government in the nation
2) Second highest debt in the nation behind California only.
3) Highest property taxes in the nation.
4) Most ineffective legislature (from bills introduced vs bills passed to law)
5) Highest ratio of government workers to residents in the nation.
6) Fastest area of job growth - yup, you guessed it - government in NYS.
7) Monroe County sales tax amoung the highest in the nation.
8) Highest Welfare / Medicad spending in the nation.
9) Highest spending per student in the nation.

The list could probably go on but you get the message. So, Why would I ever vote to return Koon (or nozzolio) to office. How could any newcomer possibly do any worse?

I see that the Webster Post endorsed Bonacci over Koon. Plus the D&C refused to endorse any state incumbents for re-election. I've also noticed a lot of Bonacci lawn signs not only here in Webster but in other towns as well. Maybe the guy has a chance to unseat Koon, who knows?
